A poem for christmas, by Yogiuday

The Moon and Venus, sisters of surrender,
Sit softly above the horizon,
Here, out there, and yet not:
Appearing only in Consciousness.

The Moon’s golden silver sliver rests peacefully.
 Mysterious Venus shines joyfully just two centimetres above
Ready to drop into the lunar bowl of acceptance and peace.

These sisters of love hold hands, sharing luminous threads of tranquillity.
Their sweet reflections of Truth radiate outwards
Cooling the fire of the ego, turning the mind inwards.

“I am here.  Look at me.” they whisper.
Rising and setting like the endless dreams of the mind;
Coming and going till they appear separate no more.

The Moon and Venus, sisters of serenity,
Sit softly above the hills,
Up high, far away, and yet not:
Appearing only in the one Consciousness.
